Our Story: Where Culinary Art Meets a 2D Cartoon World

A Vision Born from Flavor and Whimsy

At Doodle Noodle Bar, we believe that dining out shouldn't just be about grabbing a bite—it should be a complete escape from reality.

The concept was born when owners Kitto and Kit decided to bring a completely unique, immersive dining experience to the Tampa Bay food scene. Inspired by iconic, whimsical 2D cafes across Asia, The two brothers envisioned a space that seamlessly combined two distinct loves: bold, authentic Asian fusion flavors and captivating, interactive art.

To turn this vision into a physical reality, Kitto partnered with his cousin and artist, Eddy. Armed with determination and hundreds of industrial Sharpies, Eddy spent countless long nights meticulously tracing, redrawing, and hand-painting every single square inch of the restaurant. From the floors to the ceilings, the intricate black-and-white comic book aesthetic transforms our dining rooms into a live, interactive sketchbook.

While our stunning 2D comic-book world captures your attention the second you walk through the door, it’s our open kitchen that keeps our community coming back for more.

We don’t believe in taking shortcuts with our food. Our kitchen pairs deep culinary tradition with a modern, creative flair:

What started as a single passion project in Westchase has officially expanded into a second flagship location with a convenient drive-thru right by USF on East Fowler Avenue.
